Crawling!

After trying since she was about 3 months old, Gloria can now successfully crawl across the room (ahhh which means I have to be better about keeping the floors clean).

Bluebonnets

Not a great year for Texas bluebonnets, the highways weren't covered, but we still got some cute pics of the girls in a couple of different settings.
At the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.

In a lovely field in Belton. Gloria-the smilyest girl ever-wouldn't smile for a single picture, but this one is good of them looking at the flowers.
My parents only had three in their backyard-here is one!

First Performance

The program at Friendship was Children's Tea Party. The kids had their tea party like they do each week and then acted out a book. Lydia got to the main character-Rachel who had a blister! She was great, she just laid there. If you zoom in you can see Gloria in the stroller, she started to cry to so took her out for her nap :)

Lydia teaching

I am about to die laughing-Lydia went into her room, and came out with a Bible. She stood there and said, "I am going to teach yall from the Bible, this is how you open the Bible, now listen to the story-There was an Old Lady who lived in a shoe (and said it all)....then she said I bet you never heard that Bible story before!"
Then she proceeded to actually teach from the Bible-God made eberything, Jesus is alive, birds sing, shepherds came, etc

Friendship - Hat day

Every Thursday we go to Friendship International at church. Its like free preschool for Lydia; they have a teaparty and play. We were having issues with Gloria because she didn't like taking her morning nap outside of home but now three weeks in a row, she has rocked and napped with a worker (who has also napped) so everyone is happy! Today the program was on hats so we all joined in the fun. Mom teaches the current events class. Next week we will be watching the Jesus film in six languages to celebrate Easter so pray for everyone there!

First Bite - Gloria

ome

Gloria's first bite of rice cereal. She likes it! We have two (really four) great eaters in our home.

First Haircut - Lydia

We have cut Lydia's bangs before but this is the first time to cut the back. I like it especially now that the weather is getting hot. Notice the lollipop to keep her still!

Lydia-so cute!

Wearing Mommy's hat and boots (after Friendship Hat day)
Sunday best! (these are her 'big socks')

We don't let warm rain keep us in! She loves her raincoat and umbrella.
