Carrie and Luke and Claire came for a visit. We had a great time (and Lydia was much better with Luke since the last time we got together when she felt the need to hit or push constantly). We went to the pool twice and breakfasted at Chickfila. We didn't get many pictures.

More cousins!

We traveled to Beaumont this weekend to meet new cousin Zoe (Caleb's brother's Matt's daughter).

Gloria-
is a one trick baby-she loves to wave and does it all the time!

Lydia-TV
has now seen Dora the Explorer and ALL she wants to do is watch Dora. She can recall almost everything she has seen. We also got her a backpack.

Lydia-Songs
The Prince of Egypt song where Baby Moses is put in the basket is often on repeat in our house and we listen to it over and over.
She is also currently into the Wiggles whom we check out a different CD often at the library.

Princess at the Library

Lydia got a Dora Princess dress from her Grammy for Christmas. She wanted to wear it (instead of the choices I gave her) to go to story time at the Austin Public Library. So here she is and she acted like a princess too (mostly).

New nightgown

Last night was Lydia's first night not to sleep in footie pajamas, instead a Tinkerbell nightgown. She also got a summer haircut!
And tonight she is wearing her other new sleep gear!

Happy 4th of July!

4th of July is always a big holiday for my family. We've had a picnic at my parents as long as I can remember. We begin the day with the parade of flags-marching around the living room with flags to JPS. Carrie and family came too. We tried to stay cool in the heat.

Cousins

Lydia and Gloria had a fun time with their cousin Jonathan during the 4th weekend. He is two months older than Gloria (but a lot taller).

The glasses-J's nickname is Tadpole so he is going to be having a frog birthday party. L is always a little ladybug and we have chosen butterflies to be G's symbol. So E's mom found these and we tried to get a picture of all three wearing them!

Fun busy week!

Lydia had a busy busy week. After a weekend with Grandparents:
Monday-Children's Museum and lunch with Grandpa at Wendy's
Tuesday-Swimming pool!
Wednesday-First movie. Caleb took Lydia to see Veggie Tales-Pirates who don't do anything. She did pretty good but they didn't stay the while time (it was free so no big deal) And poor Gloria was getting a shot at the same time (and we found out she has another ear infection).
Thursday-story time at the library and pool again.
Friday-Friendship Independence day party with ice cream and splash pool.
Then back to the grandparents for more 4th of July fun!
