Imane and I and our kids spent the day in Salado! I wanted her to experience small town life. We arrived at my parents' and toured the grounds (or walked around the yard), then ate a yummy lunch my mom had prepared. Dad then had to go to work. We left the girls with Nana and we went to town and drove it end to end. Then parked and walked around a few shops, got fudge at one and walked to Pace Park to eat it, Idris was good in his stroller. She said it was very different than Austin!
We got the girls and stopped by the mermaid and creek for a minute, then drove back to the big city.
