Our guide took us to a traditional Omani restaurant where we had the choice of sitting on the floor or at a table, as they ladies got to sit on the floor to eat in Seeb we chose the table! There was a large hand washing room which we took advantage of and were served HUGE plates of rice with a half of a chicken, salad and Pepsi, we asked for yogurt and they gave us spoons to eat with. I finished about a forth of my rice. 
Then we headed back on the bus to go to the sands! Star, pictured above and short enough to stand in the bus, had been to Oman 7 times. She grew up some in Morocco and has sisters in Yemen & Ethiopia. She stayed with us while we lived there before and we also got to show her and a group around. She lives in Charleston and is one of my favorite people! Above is our bus, Shayna bought a seed planting garden gnome on the trip and he often popped up in pictures, here he is boarding the bus.
