Oman - Redo
As we are horrible people, Caleb and I enjoyed teaching the tour groups what the Omani colloquial word for woven food cover is: in Arabic, it is pronounced sh*t. So we would point out the decorative one on the roundabout and in the museums and restaurants. The group always enjoys expanding their Arabic vocabulary and joking around too. Caleb took this picture in Nizwa with a group in 2004, now they make some colorful ones out of plastic bags so I had to do an updated version as well! So here we are with $%!# on our heads!
