Our last trip to the Festival. The ladies were in two cars and we parked in our same up the hill spot, the guys were later after fishing and since it was the weekend they couldn't find a spot to park so they finally went to Starbucks instead! It was so crowded, some tourist, but mostly young Omanis, as families, in groups, still mostly in traditional dress but some groups of shabab (dudes) would wear what we might describe as Eurotrash... At the Heritage Village groups were parading in with bagpipes and drums and singing and dancing (its always good to be tall in a crowd like that) so we watched for a while. The guy in the yellow shirt (above) was very boisterous and we didn't think he was part of the group just someone having fun and dancing along.
Bargaining with the desert ladies for the woven items. I didn't need any so I walked close by to see the camels!

We had been seeing cotton candy every night so we went ahead and got some-we were on vacation after all :)
We were so full after the late lunch so we just had 7up and a falafal for dinner, we enjoyed sitting with the sisters and relaxing with all the sites and sounds happening around us.

Suha (who is now the age that Caleb and I were when we arrived in Oman-totally blows me away) and Sara met us and we had a nice time walking around with them. She told me about her work and life and future.
